When Walter and Natasha took over Sunshine Metal Supply, it was to build around one simple idea: in a business full of unknowns, contractors deserve at least one thing they can count on completely. Fast delivery of top-quality roof packages, every time, so their crews stay in control of the one thing that actually is in their control. I asked Walter what he’s proudest of, and it’s not the buildings or the bottom line. It’s Natasha, the team they’ve built, and the equipment and speed that let Sunshine back up its promise day after day. Walter brings the steady hand: a respected businessman, measured and reserved, but not afraid to take the calculated risk when it’s the right move. Natasha brings the spark: outgoing, warm, and the kind of person who makes every customer feel like they’re talking to a friend, not a vendor. Jerry Buss

Director of Finance

Got a payroll question, a pricing question, or an invoice that needs to be right the first time? That’s Jerry’s desk. She’s been running it since December 2025, and in that time she’s become the person employees and customers count on to keep things straight. As Director of Finance, Jerry’s the operational backbone behind every order. Clean invoicing, accurate pricing, sharp financial leadership, she’s the reason your paperwork matches your delivery and your order keeps moving without the headaches. Inside the company, she handles payroll, HR and administration. If it lands on her desk, it gets handled. And if it’s not her lane? She won’t leave you hanging. She’ll track down whoever can fix it. She’s earned the trust for it too. Twenty years in management, a Bachelors in Accounting and Business management, Jerry doesn’t guess, she knows the numbers and knows the people side just as well. Off the clock, others describe her the same way every time: fun, funny, generous and honest to a fault. If you want a straight answer, ask Jerry. Jamie Yelton

Director of Production

Wondering where your order is or when it’s rolling out the door? Jamie knows. He’s been with Sunshine Metal Supply since September 2023, and if there’s one thing the whole team counts on him for, it’s this: he knows where everything is, and he keeps every part of operations running like it should. Jamie didn’t just fall into this. He managed an ink factory in Kentucky, ran a FRAM warehouse, and then made the move to Florida, bringing all that warehouse and production know-how straight to Sunshine’s floor. Production, shipping, receiving. If it moves through the building, it moves through Jamie first. Ask around and you’ll hear the same thing about him every time: he’s willing to help anybody. No exceptions, no attitude, just get it done.

Joe Mutuku

Marketing Director

Ever wonder how more roofing contractors and homeowners discover what Sunshine Metal Supply can actually do for them? That’s Joe. He joined the team in June 2026, and his whole job is making sure the right people know Sunshine’s out there and know how Sunshine can serve them. Joe’s spent 12+ years in branding, marketing, and strategy, working with companies all over the world. He’s got a Bachelors of Arts in Design to go with it, so when he talks about how Sunshine shows up in the market, he’s speaking from real experience, not guesswork. Floyd Eicher

Outside Sales

Out on a job-site talking specs, warranties, or samples? That’s Floyd’s world. Five years in with Sunshine Metal Supply, and he wears two hats well: inside the office, he’s the one the sales team leans on for product knowledge, warranty details, and getting samples into the right hands. Out in the field, he’s sitting across from contractors, finding the win-win that gets the job done right for everybody. That instinct isn’t new for him. Floyd ran his own business before Sunshine, and that experience shows every time he’s at the table. He knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the deal, which is exactly why he’s so good at finding the deal that works for both sides. Outside of work, people describe him the same way every time: Dedicated, positive, optimistic, creative, always thinking outside the box. If there’s a solution to be found, Floyd’s the one who finds it.

Allan Knepp

Head of Estimates

Got a roofing question nobody else can answer? Chances are Allan can. Since joining Sunshine Metal Supply in April 2025, he’s become the guy the whole team turns to for roofing knowledge, and he’s just as quick to teach it as he is to know it. Fifteen years in construction, five years of CAD experience, and more than five years actually up on roofs installing them. Allan’s not working off a textbook. He’s been on the job site, hands on the material, and that’s exactly the kind of experience that makes his advice worth listening to. Walk into a room with Allan and you’ll feel it before he even says a word. People describe him as someone who lights up any space he’s in, with a fun personality and a positive energy that’s hard not to catch.

Mary Rivera

Lead Inventory and Customer Service

Need to know if it’s in stock, or need an answer on your order? Mary’s the one who has it. She’s been with Sunshine Metal Supply since 2025, and in that time she’s become the go-to for anything inventory and anything customer service, the kind of person who just knows the answer, or knows exactly where to find it. She’ll tell you straight up: she’s a people person first. values getting details right, and has the skill set built on trust and follow-through. Exactly what you want from someone managing your order. Others describe her the same way every time: friendly, and approachable. She’s easy to talk to, which makes it easy to get the answers you actually need.

Michael Iorio

Sales

Need a price check before you commit, or want someone to look over an order before it ships? That’s Michael. Come this August, he’ll have been at Sunshine Metal Supply three years, and in that time he’s become the guy the whole team leans on for price checks, order reviews, and just plain support when something needs a second set of eyes. He’s got the background to back it up. Over a decade in operations and a Masters in Business Administration, Michael doesn’t just check the numbers, he understands why they matter to your job and your bottom line. Off the clock, people describe him one simple way: easy going. Nothing rattles him, and that’s exactly the energy you want on the other end of the phone when you’re trying to get a roof closed in.

Kat Harvey

Sales

Call Sunshine Metal Supply and there’s a good chance Kat’s the voice on the other end. She’s been on the team since December 2025, and in that time she’s become the one people count on for answering the phone, getting quotes turned around fast and bringing the good vibes and laughter that make the day better for everyone around her. Her path here isn’t the typical sales background, and that’s part of what makes her good at it. A BA in criminal justice, five years in IT services, plus accounting experience — Kat’s used to detail, structure, and getting things right. That shows up in every interaction. Ask anyone around the office and they’ll tell you the same thing: she’s bubbly. The kind of energy that makes calling in for a quote feel less like a chore and more like talking to a friend who happens to know roofing.

Jazmin Acevedo

Need a quote back fast? Just ask around the office and everyone will point you to Jazmin. Since the joined in 2024 she’s built her whole reputation on one thing: you send the request, she gets it back to you quick. No waiting around, no chasing her down for an update. She picks things up fast and explains them even faster, which is probably why customers like working with her so much. She won’t overcomplicate things or leave you guessing. She’ll just tell you what you need to know, clearly, and move on to getting your quote done . And honestly, ask anyone outside the office about her and you’ll get the same answer twice: she’s blunt, and she’s funny. She’ll say exactly what’s on her mind, and somehow it’s usually the funniest thing you’ve heard all day.
